Use Common Sense
General
-Swearing in character is fine as long as it actually in character. However, if you insult my members, you will be banned. No sexist or racist remarks will be tolerated. Also, keep in mind that this forum has nothing to do with politics or such. Thank you.
-Please show respect to all members and guests. OOC fights are reasons to be banned. You have been warned.
Joining
-You may have three "created" characters. All other characters must be either born in game, or adopted. Pm the admin for exceptions. *more info in joining board.
-Activity checks will be posted. Members who do not post back will be emailed, and if they still don't notify me, they will be deleted and their posts moved to archives. If you return, your information will be returned as well.
Posting
-I would like it if everyone posted at least five sentences in each post, however you may post as little as you want. Please refrain from laziness though and post some detail? (I mean, how hard is it to write: "'Yes' she whispered, calmly staring into his eyes." instead of "Yes."?)
- When you post observe proper grammar and spelling. I suggest you run it through a spell check before posting. (no, we are not grammar freaks, and we all make mistakes, but try?)
- Please post in the third person, and past tense.
*Bad- 'I look at him.' OR 'He is looking at him.' OR 'I looked at him.'
*Good- 'She looked at him.'
- When posting in a group of three or more, please try to wait for other members. Making a posting sequence is really advised, but not required.
-No God-modding, or Power playing. This means that you can only control your own character, and that character can not be all knowing or all powerful.
*Bad- Sam pounced on Tom and tore him to shreds.
*Good- Sam jumped in Tom's direction with a killing intent. (See how this allows the other character to respond?)
Miscellaneous
-A year is four months, and a month is one season.
-Most humans can not understand wolves, and most wolves can not understand humans. (see the store and ranks page for more info)
-The two human breeds can intermarry and have kids, but the children are often sickly and deformed.
Offspring
-In order to have kids (human or canine) the mother and father need to post in a thread together. (please fade to black for the actual breeding). Then both must pm the admin with their character sheets and how many pups they would like. Over the next week, their level of activity will dictate the health of their offspring. (pm the admin for exceptions, we all know that life comes before role playing)
-Offspring can be role played jointly by the mother and father for two real life weeks. After that they need to have their own character sheet and be adopted out. (The member that plays the mother or the father is welcome to adopt them.)
*rules may be changed.
*It is the member's responsibility to know the rules. "I didn't know" is not an acceptable excuse.
